KP team win 3-match football series in Bahrain

ISLAMABAD - Visiting Malik Saad Trust KP football team created history after winning the three-match friendly football series against leading club of Bahrain Al-Tad-Aman 3-0.
In the third and last match of the series, KP team thrashed Al-Tad-Aman Club 5-0. Thanks mainly to Salahuddin, who scored a brace. He scored his first goal in the 5th minute and after that despite lime share of possession, KP team didn’t manage to add more goals as the first half ended 1-0. Late flurry of goals saw KP team scoring four goals. Sohail Khan scored second goal in the 66th minute, Salah completed his brace in the 75th minute while Waseem scored in the 80th minute and Umair completed the rout in the 83rd minute to finish the tour on high note.
Ambassador of Pakistan in Bahrain M Saeed Khan hosted a reception in honor of team members and also distributed cash awards among the players. The team will return home today (Friday) and will be given warm welcome at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar.
In earlier matches, KP team routed Al Shabab Club 6-2 with Salahuddin scoring a brace and in other match, KP team beat Al Rafeh Club 2-1.
