DERA GHAZI KHAN-Balochistan Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that Jirga System is very effective in the province as it is the best way to settle disputes and quarrels and also heinous crimes out of the court.

During a private visit to Dera Ghazi Khan, he said, “However, we respect the apex supreme’s order regarding ban on Jirga System.” To a question, he said that after the retirement of Gen Raheel Sharif, his policies will continue and added that his services for the country are exemplary.

To another question on law and order situation in Balochistan, Bugti said that the situation is in control and mentioned that crime ratio in Balochistan is less than that of Faisalabad city of Punjab.

Furthermore, he said that in Balochistan, India was involved to promote terrorism and Kulbhushan Yadav is main proof of the claim. CPEC project will prove to be the game changer in the area, he said.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan interior minister security squad crushed motorcycle riders in Jampur area near Dera Ghazi Khan Zila Tax (Chungi) on Friday. Near Jampur, the security squad hit a motorcycle rider crossing the link road on Indus Highway. As a result, Saeed Ahmad died at spot, her wife Sajda and brother Bashir Ahmad were injured while a Baloch Lavy Office was also injured.
