LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting to review in detail the steps being taken for the protection of life and property of the people of the province.

During the meeting, the chief minister ordered large scale crackdown against anti-social elements, criminal persons and proclaimed offenders and said that indiscriminate action should be taken against them and all out steps be taken for safeguarding life and property of the masses.

CM said that police will have to perform its duties in an active and vibrant manner for ensuring law & order situation. He said that police will have to come up to the expectations of the people and it is only possible when police force will perform its duties of protection of life and property of the people efficiently.

He maintained that nothing is more important than safeguarding life and property of the masses.
