JI to march on Islamabad for Fata reforms

PESHAWAR : Jamaat-e-Islami Fata on Sunday announced long march on December 10 from Bab-e-Khyber to Islamabad in favour of merger of the tribal belt with Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

JI Fata chief Sardar Khan and other leaders, while addressing a press conference at Jamrud Press Club, said that they would march on the federal capital to force the government for implementation of Fata reforms, including Fata-KP merger.

The marchers would stage a protest demo outside the National Press Club upon arrival to the federal capital followed by a sit-in at D-Chowk, they added.

Sardar Khan claimed while talking about JI’s stance after revival of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal that the JI would not change its stance on Fata reforms after revival of the alliance.
