LAHORE -  PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that national government is the only solution to the prevailing crisis in the country.

In a statement issued from here yesterday, the former Prime Minister said the “puppet” government has completely failed and lacked capability to effectively tackle internal and external challenges.

He said that use of violence on the participants of Khatm-e-Nubawwat sit-in had been done at the instance of Nawaz Sharif.

“Nawaz is behind the killing of innocent participants of sit-in.”

He said that the ousted Prime Minister wanted to create anarchy and riots in the country to divert the attention of people against his corruption.

The proof of the ill-intention of the government, he said, was that it also wanted to drag Army into the crisis after the judiciary.

PML-Q senior leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal's statement to link Khatm-e-Nubawwat sit-in with India was highly shameful. He said that only Nawaz Sharif had friendly relations with Narendra Modi and India.
