KARACHI - Minister for Industries Manzoor Hussain Wasan on Sunday said that the public gathering in Sukkur was not from the grand democratic alliance instead it was a ‘General Musharraf Alliance’.

In a statement issued on Sunday, he said that the talks of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional leader Saddaruddin Shah against corruption were a sign of end of the world but unfortunately their narrative would not help them in elections and they would acquire fewer seats from the past in the upcoming general elections.

“People of Sindh have leant of corrupt practices from Functional League,’ he alleged adding that the PML-F is the partner of anti-democratic forces and had joined hands with Ziaul Haq, Musharraf and Jam Sadiq to topple elected governments.

He said that that they had even joined hand with anti-Sindh people in order to come into power.

He predicted that the establishment after fulfilling its objectives through PML-F would send them to jail and would not let the corrupt people roam free.

“I do not see any future of GDA and the those who are joining hands today will soon become foes,” he said adding that most of the GDA leaders would join either PPP, PTI or PML-N before upcoming elections. He claimed that the PML-F would not even be able to win seats in Khairpur and Sanghar in next elections. He further claimed that the GDA alliance is bent on driving a conspiracy with Musharraf to divide Sindh into two parts and it could be proved through recent Musharraf statements in which he has supported new provinces. He said that the people gathered in PML-F public gathering were their followers not the people of the Sindh province.
