RAWALPINDI - Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Sardar Rao Ali Khan on Friday has issued transfer and posting orders of three superintendents of police, informed sources. A notification in this regard has also been issued, they said.
According to sources, IGP Punjab Sardar Rao Ali Khan has transferred SP Rawal Division Zia Uddin Ahmed (PSP/BS-18) and appointed him as Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi. SP Taimoor Khan, who was serving as CTO, was transferred and posted as SP Security Rawalpindi by the provincial police chief, they said.
Similarly, SP Babar Javed Joya (PSP/BS-18), who was serving as SP Investigation Mianwali, has been appointed as SP Rawal Division, sources said.
All the newly appointed SPs have assumed their charges.
