The acclaimed movie star, Angelina Jolie visited Pakistan as a Goodwill Ambassador last month. She appreciated the morals of ordinary Pakistani citizens but in her report to the UN, she expressed how perturbed she was by the atrocious behaviour of the ruling elite of Pakistan. She has an illustrious actress yet; she was dressed as a derelict while sitting besides the flood victims, holding their hands and giving them hope of a new day. But on the other side, our politicians were deluging her with gifts and were busy in private photo sessions with her. Ms. Jolie was really put off by the luxurious lifestyle of the elite while witnessing the melancholy of the IDPs at the same time.
