OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Canadian High Commissioner in Pakistan Ross Hynes called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Wednesday. Bilateral relations matters of common interest and cooperation in different sectors were discussed. Wife of the high Commissioner, Provincial Minister, Kamran Michael, MPA Arifa Khalid, Advisor to CM, Zakiya Shahnawaz, Secretary Home, Secretary Agriculture, Secretary Labour and Honorary Consul Yawar Ali were also present on the occasion. Talking to the Canadian High Commissioner, the chief minister said that Pakistan and Canada had cordial relations which had played a commendable role in socio-economic development of Pakistan. Appreciating Canadian cooperation in the uplift of education sector and teachers training in Punjab. He said Punjab government was attaching top priority to the development of education sector and revolutionary measures had been taken for the purpose.
