HAFIZABAD - DCO Muhammad Asif has ordered the authorities concerned to rectify the defects in close Circuit cameras installed in the city to effective monitoring and vigilance of suspicious elements. While addressing a meeting of the District Peace Committee here Wednesday, he said that Hafizabad was fortunate enough that no sectarian or terrorist happening took place in the area mainly due to positive attitude of the people particularly the religious scholars who always worked for inter-faith and sectarian harmony. He said that they should continue their positive role to maintain peaceful atmosphere during the upcoming Eidul Azha. He said that necessary arrangements had been made by the TMAs Pindi Bhattian and Hafizabad to remove sacrificial animals waste promptly on the eve of Eidul Azha. PDA donation for flood-hit: The Petroleum Dealers Association (PDA) District Hafizabad on Wednesday presented a cheque of Rs100,000 to Assistant Commissioner Noman Hafeez for relief and rehabilitation of flood-affected brethren of Sindh. On the occasion, the AC thanked Association President Falak Sher Chatha and urged others to follow suit to help their flood-stricken brethren in their hour of need.
