Saifullah vows to win back

disgruntled party workers

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President and MPA Anwar Saifullah Khan has said that he would visit each and every district of the province to meet with angry workers and remove their grievances.

“Workers are the asset of the party and he needs to win them as it will enable the party to win next general elections in the province”, he said while speaking at a public meeting in Mammakhel near Naurang town.

Among others People’s Lawyers Forum president advocate Iqbal Hussain and Lakki district bar president advocate Naimatullah Khan also spoke at the meeting.

Saifullah vowed that he would form the next government in the militancy-hit province had PPP won 12 to 14 provincial assembly seats of southern districts in the upcoming polls.

Strongly reacting to a statement of former chief minister Akram Durrani against Saifullah brothers, he announced to contest elections against him (Akram Durrani).

He said that he would close the chapter of Durrani’s politics by giving him a crushing defeat in the upcoming elections. “The local groups known as ‘Speen Gund’ and ‘Tor Gund’ are the identity of the Marwat tribe and those who dream of burying these groups live in a fool’s paradise”, he said.

He further said that both the groups were intact and elders affiliated with them would protect the strong traditions of Marwats.

Inviting his political rivals to reconciliation, he said that the candidates backed by PPP and his family would clean sweep in the national and provincial assembly seats in the district.
