ISLAMABAD (Online) - Chief Commissioner Islamabad Tariq Mehmood Peerzada has postponed the Eid holidays of federal police and district administration officials to ensure the security in twin cities.

According to the plan, additional police force would be deployed in twin cities during prayer times and sensitive places of the city to ensure security for Eid ul Azha. Services of 2800 police personals have also been sought in this regard specially for Eid.

To ensure the security in the area police personals would perform their duties while the Special Forces would also be red alerted in sensitive places to avoid any untoward incident. According to district administration the Federal police and Islamabad administration officers would check all arrangements while the Special Forces would perform duties on important buildings, roads and important places.
