Islamabad - China will set up its culture centre in Islamabad to share its common culture values and promote people-to-people contacts.

According to press release issued by the Chinese Embassy, the first ever centre will start working early next year at here Pak-China Centre, where the Pakistani people, particularly the youth will be taught Chinese language, music, calligraphy and Chinese marshal art.

“The culture centre is being set up under an MoU that was signed in 2010 for promoting culture activities between the two countries,” said Cultural Counsellor Zhang Yingbao.

Under this document, Pakistan was also supposed to establish a similar centre in Beijing.
