Atlanta: Rihanna put both her new fragrance line and herself on display at the Rogue Man launch in Atlanta on Saturday.
The recording artist was there to personally oversee the official Macy’s release of her newest fragrance and to participate in a meet-and-greet with fans.
In true Rihanna fashion, the 26-year-old singer was looking her best in a stunning and revealing black ensemble. Reminiscent of a belly-dancing costume, her blinged-out halter top showed off Rihanna’s midriff when the matching wrap hung from her elbows. Several necklaces and bracelets accessorized the look, as did an elaborate henna tattoo on Rihanna’s hand. Some lucky fans got to meet the singer as well during the event, with many of the younger visitors getting hugs from Rihanna. Rogue Man - which is available in eau de toilette, shower gel, and after-shave balm - is the male follow-up to Rihanna’s 2013 scent, Rogue.
Three earlier fragrances called Reb’l Fleur, Rebelle, and Nude complete Rihanna’s full line of scents.
Developed by perfumer Frank Voelkl for Rihanna, Rogue Man is officially described as having a base of sandalwood, patchouli, amber, musk, and tonka bean. The heart of the fragrance is cedar, jasmine, vanilla orchid, and labdanum, while the top notes are bergamot, clementine, black pepper, and rosemary.–MOL
Rihanna did not, however, spend all of her recent time on perfume development and away from her award-winning recording career.
Online rumours have indicated that a new Rihanna album could appear as early as November.
