The death toll due to yesterday's earthquake has risen to 247 around Pakistan, Waqt News reported. 1500 individuals have got injured.

According to the media reports almost 2000 houses has been damaged or destroyed due to this natural calamity.  “Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KP) is the most affected region,” media stated.

The rescue operation is being carried on by both government and military institutions “The rescue operation is facing difficulties due to bad weather and hilly area” government sources revealed.

The media reports further stated that the masses are carrying the rescue efforts by themselves in many regions in KP.
