KARACHI - The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $19,902.1 million on October 20, 2017. The weekly break-up of the foreign reserves position showed that foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) stood at $13,941.6 million, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are $5,960.5 million, so total liquid foreign reserves reached at $19,902.1 million. During the week ending October 20, 2017, SBP’s reserves decreased by $216 million to $13,942 million due to payments on account of external debt servicing.
