Senior judge of Supreme Court Justice Ejaz Afzal has taken the oath as the acting Chief Justice of Pakistan.
According to media sources, oath-taking ceremony held in Supreme Court (SC) and Justice Azmat Saeed administrated oath to Justice Ejaz Afzal.
Attorney general of Pakistan, senior lawyers, and judges of the apex court were also present in the ceremony.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar with the second most senior judge of Supreme Court Justice Saeed Khosa are in Colombo, SriLanka to attend the conference of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc).
