Rawalpindi - A man has accused the administration of Airport Cooperative Housing Society (ACHS) of grabbing his land and selling plots on forged documents, informed sources on Thursday.

According to sources, a man named Chaudhry Imran, resident of Mohala Ajmiri, Chaklala Village, lodged a complaint with Police Station (PS) Saddar Bairooni stating that he along with his family members had contracted a deal of transferring 25 kanals of land with administration of ACHS. The land was transferred with the help of property dealer identified as Raja Arshad and other officers of land revenue department.

He mentioned that ACHS management had promised to give him and his family 25 plots of Sector 4 and 5 in return of his land. The society gave them 21 allotment letters but the administration failed to give them possession of the land.

The society pledged to give him four remaining plots but the administration refused to follow up on its promise. Chaudhry Imran requested police to bar the administration of ACHS from selling his plots through fraudulent means and register a criminal case against the president Rana Obaid, his brother Rana Zahid and secretary of society, who are all involved in selling plots on bogus documents. He said he had also approached Punjab Cooperative Department Registrar Hassan Abbas asking him to intervene in the matter and help him get back his plots. However, nothing was done on part of the registrar. He said he had sued the ACHS management.

Station House Officer (SHO) PS Saddar Bairooni Malik Rafaqat, when contacted, said the police have summoned the accused party for recording of their statements.
