ISLAMABAD: NUML Youth Council in collaboration with All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Pakistan Chapter would organise a seminar and cultural show to highlight the significance of observing Black Day on October 27 at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC).

According to Kashmir Media Service, Prime Minister of AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Leader of the House in the Senate Raja Zafarul Haq, senior Hurriyat Conference leader Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Nafees Zakriya spokesman FO and government officials of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, leadership of APHC and a large number of people from different walks of life would participate in the seminar. Abdul Hameed Lone, secretary information of APHC said October 27 is being observed as black day against India’s illegitimate occupation of Kashmir till the freedom of Kashmir.

Talking about the seminar, he said speakers would highlight the Kashmir cause in speeches on October 27. “Every year the Kashmiris observe October 27 as “Black Day” to mark the day when Indian Army landed in Srinagar for the occupation of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

He said that over the past few years October 27 has gained significance for Kashmiris at home and Indian Occupied Kashmir and the world over.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) would also stage a protest rally on October 27 to condemn Indian atrocities and observe the Black Day, he said. Abdul Hameed Lone said our protest is to condemn the Indian brutality in occupied Kashmir which should come to an end now as India was violating human rights in worst form in occupied Kashmir.–APP
