SARGODHA - Municipal Corporation (MC) Mayor Malik Aslam Naveed said that betterment of sewerage system, provision of potable water and construction of roads are his top priorities. He was addressing a press conference at his office. He said that earlier Sargodha was suffering multifarious problems like non-payments of pensions and arrears, salaries of employees and dues of utility bills. But now, he added, all the pensioners and present staff are receiving their pensions and salaries regularly and electricity and other bills are also paid accordingly.

The mayor said that development projects were continued across the city under CM Punjab development funds. He said that government also approved vast land to dump garbage and by virtue of that step city area would become neat and clean. Mayor Malik Aslam Naveed added that Secretary Local Government had approved the recruitment of 27 drivers for dumping vehicles.
