ISLAMABAD - Both the opining matches of the Gilgit-Baltistan Youth Football School Championship ended in a draw and all the teams were awarded equal points The championship being commenced Monday participating teams assembled at the ground led by the boy scouts from different schools. Advisor sports Tourism, Culture and Youth Affairs Gilgit-Baltistan Sadia Danish was the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony. She was accompanied by Director Education Gilgit Faraz who was invited as guest of honour. Chief guest Sadia Danish, during her address appreciated the role of PFF chief for organising this event in Gilgit. Gilgit Tigers and Basin River match ended in a 1-1 draw. Basins Israr opened the scoring in the 12th minute while Abdul Hameed levelled the score in the 70th minute. Markhore and Snow Leopards match also ended 1-1 draw. Salman Karim of Markhore scored in the 13th minute while Shabbir Hussain levelled the score for Snow Leopards in the 17th minute.
