LONDON (Agencies) - Ahead of the England selectors meet on Monday to finalise their squad for the One Day International (ODI) series against India, team director Andy Flower said that he is confident of England beating India in their own back yard in the ODI series. He said: When you know you can beat someone and they know it as well, it helps. Theres nothing mysterious out there but well have to bat well against spin and deal with reverse swing. England beat Sri Lanka and India in Test and one-day series this summer. They lost only two T20 matches, one against Sri Lanka and other against West Indies. Reflecting on the England players recent performances, he added: They can look back on this summer with a lot of pride. India will be a really good challenge. Its nice to see the youngsters grab their chances, the second West Indies game excepted. Weve exposed a number of our players to leadership opportunities and theyve responded really well. Flower said players with ability to tackle spin will be given the first preference for India tour. We want to get a mix of youth and experience.
