LAHORE - Pakistan volleyball team will take on India today (Tuesday) in the second round of the Asian Mens Volleyball Championship in Tehran. The India national volleyball team thrashed Japan by 3-1 in the second round of the Asian Mens Volleyball Championship. Japan and India teams, which are in the same pool with the national team of Iran, played a well-contested match. Indian player, shirt No 18, was injured in the second set and could no longer play in this match. The first and the second referees of this match were from Chinese Taipei and China respectively. The national volleyball team of Iran in the first match of the second round clinched its place with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-18 victory over Pakistan in a decisive match. The national volleyball team of South Korea picked up a victory 3-1 over their arch-rivals. The unbeaten China in their last three matches.
