Police foil minors wedding bid

Our Staff reporter SARGODHA - Police foiled the wedding bid of a minor couple and booked seven people including the parents of the minor couple. On a tip-of, the Atta Shaheed Police conducted raid at Riaz Colony in Village Asianwala where the wedding ceremony of five-year-old Iqra and six-year-old Zahid Imran was in progress. The police arrested their parents and lodged an FIR against the perpetrators. Meanwhile the family members of both the kids told that they were innocent, as they were unaware that the action was an offence according to the law. PMA FUMIGATION: The Pakistan Medical Association carried out fumigation in different departments of the DHQ Hospital on Monday. PMA President Dr Skindar Hayat Warraich told to the media that doctors set up an example for the common people.
