NEW YORK  - Prime Minister of Netherlands Mark Rutte called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the United Nations Headquarters on Friday. The Dutch Prime Minister expressed grief over the devastation caused by the recent floods. He said that Netherlands was very good at water management and offered assistance in this regard.

The Prime Minister apprised his Dutch counterpart of the govt’s efforts to eliminate terrorism from the country including the ongoing military operation in the Tribal Areas.

He said that the operation was going on successfully.

Nawaz Sharif said that a large number of people from that region were displaced and have to be rehabilitated.
