None shall have it?

The French govt imposed a ban on womens veil recently and a 31-year-old French Muslim woman was actually fined for driving while wearing a full-face veil. I find it rather strange that a ban on womens veil is acceptable for security reasons but there is no consideration for the dignity of her choice. Isnt this a breach of human rights and womens rights? I find behavior of the French govt disgusting. Everyone should have a right to live according to his or her will. Women should be able to choose for themselves and if any of them wishes to submit to the cloister of her faith, it is her choice. Why is the French government being so narrow-minded about it? -MUHAMMAD OVAIS ASLAM, Karachi, April 26.
