Ogra to raise POL prices

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Another bombshell looks on the cards as Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has started methodical review to increase petroleum prices by three to eight percent from May 1 to pass on the impact of price rise in the international market to consumers. According to new rates, petrol will be increased by three percent, diesel by seven percent and kerosene oil is expected to jack up by eight percent in this regard. The OGRA said the prices are being jacked up because of an equivalent surge in the international market.
