ISLAMABAD Shrugging off certain advices from his cronies, President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday decided to accept whatever decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on the petition against the recently passed 18th Constitutional Amendment. According to sources, the President arrived back from his first ever visit to Peshawar and held an emergency meeting over the fate of the Constitutional Amendment and observed that the government should follow whatever the decision of the apex court would be in this regard. The sources were of the view that the President was in a mood to welcome the apex courts decision in this regard and was all open to accept whatever the Supreme Court decides in this regard. According to the sources, his all close associates were present during the meeting on Tuesday except Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani who is in Bhutan for the SAARC Summit. We would have to go by the Constitution which is actually the supreme document above both the Parliament and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the sources quoted the President as saying during the meeting.
