Simplicity in letter and in spirit

According to a news report, our Prime Minister has managed to save half million rupees from his annual salary, apparently, his only source of income. Nice to see leader of Parliament spending simple life and saving half of his annual salary. However, this fact is also on record that the Prime Minister wears suits of Harrods, London, costing more than I000 Sterling Pounds per suit. Taking into account the prudent spending style of PM, it becomes difficult to understand who meets this heavy expenditure of suiting. Obviously, PM's pocket cannot bear such heavy expenditure. Evidently, national kitty is being used for the purpose putting some extra burden on already gasping taxpayers of country. It would be better if our leaders resort to "simplicity" in letter and spirit and stop spending money lavishly which could easily be utilized for the welfare of poor masses.
