Jashan-e-Baharan festival gains momentum

Three-day Jashan-e-Baharan at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) gained momentum with participation of thousands of locals on Saturday.
The festival will continue till today (Sunday). Local as well as the artisans from remote cities attracted the attention of the visitors by their unique artwork. Besides work of artisans, different cultural programmes were being presented to entertain the audience. Famous social worker Amjad Hussain Alvi and Naheed Manzoor, former resident director of RAC, inaugurated the festival. Amjad Hussain Alvi applauded the efforts of Waqar Ahmed, RAC RD, for providing entertainment to the people of twin cities and giving a platform to the artisans.
Naheed Manzoor said that RAC was famous for its quality programmes.  RAC RD Waqar Ahmed said such kind of activities would be continued for the people.
