Islamabad- Disillusioned over being left out by his own party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N), Abdul Hakim Baloch, has stepped down as the State Minister for Railways.

“My resignation as the state minister is a protest against PML-N’s deliberate ‘downplaying’ its representatives from Sindh”, Baloch said in a statement. He said that it’s a pity that even the Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique, did not bother to let me in on any of his engagements during his recent visit to Karachi. “No one informed me about Rafique’s plans. I was not even considered worth inviting to the programs organized for the federal minister. I can’t stand this apathy, on the part of my party leadership, any longer. I quit.”

However, according to Baloch, the party has not accepted his resignation yet
