TARBELA GHAZI - State Bank of Pakistan Deputy Governor Shamasur Rehman said special attention was being paid to small entrepreneurships in order to bring improvement in the national economy and loaning process had been made easier.

He said that although process of loaning for the small entrepreneurships and small businessmen had been made much easier than previous but it was matter of surprise that a large number of the local bankers were unaware of the schemes which had been introduced for relief of the small entrepreneurships and if that situation prevails then how an entrepreneur could get access to these facilities.
He said that the bankers should visit themselves to the people to guide them for getting the advantages of that policy to enhance and rum their business in a batter and accelerated way.
Shamasur Rehman said all the banks had been made bound to ensure release of the small loans up to 10 million rupees within 15 days and medium loans within 25 days.
He also told that with the collaboration of Pakistan Bank Association new housing policy was being introduced very soon likewise easy mobile account would also be started soon through which any consumer would be able to open his account sitting at home.
Shamas said that State Bank of Pakistan had prepared a new policy for the business loans and now workshops and seminars were being held for proper and beneficial introduction and awareness of that policy.
Abbottabad Chamber of Commerce President Haji Iftikhar, high-ups of State Bank, Director SME Ghulam Muhammad Abbasi, Director Accounts of State Bank Noor Ahmed, Sajjad Ali Shah, regional heads of all banks working in Hazara division, their officers, a large number of businessmen and representative of peasant / farmer community attended the seminar.
At the occasion various suggestions regarding removal of the hurdles being faced by the people for obtaining agricultural loans were also discussed in details and ensured to remove them.
