There is a horrendous disconnect between the 95 percent people of Pakistan and the present ruling junta of PPP-MQM-MMA-ANP. People especially hate the old opportunists in this coalition that they think would go to any extent for their vested interests. Since they hate the present set up, it is only logical that they also mistrust every policy they pursue. That is why the policies on USA, UK and India are such duds in public. -K. B.
