LAHORE – Parts of the province including the City remained in the grip of muggy weather on Monday with experts predicting the prevailing conditions to persist during the next 24 hours.

In Lahore, lack of rains, absence of winds and abundance of sunshine caused considerable increase in daytime temperature with high humidity making the weather oppressive.

On Monday, the maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded at 34 and 27 Celsius. The relative humidity in the evening was recorded 69 per cent. The local met department has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of scattered rains during the next 24 hours.
