RAWALPINDI - Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench comprising Justice Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmad and Justice Ibadur Rehman on Monday extended for one-day bail before arrest of Syed Musa Gilani, son of former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Federal Textile Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin in the Ephedrine case. While extending the bail, the court directed the counsels of the accused to appear before it on Tuesday (today) with required preparations.
The court observed that it wanted to decide the applications instead of giving extension in dates.
As the court resumed hearing it was informed that the lawyers were on strike and would not appear in the cases on Monday.
Hearing of an application by Director of a Private Pharmaceutical Company for bail was also adjourned till Wednesday (tomorrow).
