LAKKI MARWAT - Pakistan Peoples Party (Sherpao), Lakki Marwat, is set to launch membership campaign in the district from the next month as a part of its strategy to accelerate masses contact campaign and make preparations for the upcoming polls. PPP (S) district president Aslam Wazir told this correspondent on Monday that membership drive would be launched with full enthusiasm so as to ensure achieving the target successfully. He said that party activists would visit each and every nook and corner of the district and would strive hard to persuade maximum number of people to join PPP (S).
“The PPP (Sherpao) will emerge as one of the major political force in the area politics after the successful membership campaign”, he hoped, saying that the membership drive will also enable us to play our cards in the local Khans dominant politics at our own will.
He revealed that prominent elite and notables would join the party in coming days to strengthen its position in local political scenario. Wazir said that the ruling ANP disappointed masses and failed to resolve their problems in the last over four years.
He told that people faced worst kind of lawlessness besides inflation broke their backs in the present regime. He said that PPP (S) would clean sweep upcoming elections and would steer the province out of crises after formation of government.
