ISLAMABAD - Foolproof security arrangements were made on the occasion of appearance of Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf before the Supreme Court while Red zone remained on high alert.
Two walk-through gates were installed outside courtroom 2 of the Supreme Court building, in which Prime Minister was to appear, in addition to the aerial surveillance of the Red zone. Before the Prime Minister came in the courtroom, the Bomb Disposal Squad and Prime Minister's security staff gave security clearance. From 7 o'clock to 11 o'clock in the morning, the common people were barred from entering the Red zone, except those having entrance passes. Three SPs and 800 security personnel in total were deployed inside the Red zone.
