Azadi Train gets warm welcome in RY Khan

BAHAWALPUR
Azadi Train was warmly welcomed at Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Sadiqabad as a large number of citizens had gathered at the Railway Station to receive it.
The train coming from Peshawar reached Rahim Yar Khan Railway Station where the citizens welcomed it. Chief Commercial Manager Muhammad Ali Chachar told the media that from August 11, Azadi Train started its journey from Peshawar which stops at every railway station and provides the citizens with floats, library and other entertainment.
He said that more than 25,000 people have warmly welcomed the Azadi Train at Khanpur. Its compartments show the Railway’s history, have a library regarding Pakistan’s creation. The other two compartments have been decorated by Pakistan Army regarding the history of Pakistan Army.
In all the four compartments LCDs have been installed showing national songs, National Anthem and Pakistan Army’s documentaries and films.
Aside from the compartments, floats have been established showing cultures of all the provinces of Pakistan. He said that Azadi Train will reach Karachi on September 9 to its final destination. Similarly, Azadi Train was warmly welcomed at Khanpur and Sadiqabad Railway stations.
