LAHORE - Former justice Nasira Javed Iqbal has said that the constitution of Pakistan defends democracy. The Quaid-i-Azam rejected corruption and nepotism, the prevailing evils in the society.
The youth must be acquainted with the Two-Nation Theory, the aims and objectives, of the establishment of Pakistan and the life and services of the heroes of the Independence Movement.
She expressed these views at the Aiwan-e-Karkunan-i-Tahreek-i-Pakistan while addressing the interns.
She also discussed importance of freedom for the citizens and held that it was wrong to cordon off the women within four walls of the house. She said that the law ensures equal facilities for the women too.
