Allied Schools Talent Awards 2014

LAHORE (PR): Allied Schools recently organised a ceremony of Talent Awards 2014 for the students who have shown excellent performance in Matric exams 2014. Students were awarded cash prizes worth of Rs 19,0000, medals and merit certificates.

Students from 52 campuses of Allied Schools appeared for SSC Examinations across Pakistan. Many students have scored more than 1000 marks and 400 students achieved A+ Grade whereas 450 students achieved A Grade.

Muhammad Mustansar of Gujranwala Satellite Town Campus was awarded cash prize of Rs: 50,000 on getting first position (1039 marks. Rs: 40,000 cash was honoured to Amna Iftikhar of Canal Campus Burewala and Zeeshan Ahmed of Zalmas Campus Sheikhupura who stood second (1038 marks). Ayesha Dil of Husnain Campus Sambrial and Khadija Kamran of Allama Iqbal Town Campus Lahore were bestowed with Rs: 30,000 cash prize each on getting third position (1035marks).

Huawei Smartphone buyers win trip to Spain

LAHORE (PR): Following a regional campaign to showcase its partnership with Liga de FutbolProfesional (LFP), Huawei, has announced Imran Rassaq, 27; Adnan Ibrahim, 23 and Aamir Khan, 26 as the three Pakistani winner of its competition.

After beating out hundreds of other football fans, the three winners will be travelling to Spain to watch LFP tournament next month.

KE demands Rs 31 billion dues from KWSB

KARACHI (PR): K-Electric (KE) has sent a letter to the Chief Minister of Sind, Members of the Ministry of Water & Power & Members of the Government of Sind in which the company has appealed that the Sind Government should clear KWSB’s dues as per the understanding between KE members and Chief Minister Sind, Qaim Ali Shah.

Giving details KE’s press statement said that a meeting was held almost 2 months back in which the Chief Minister Sind gave details of the Rs 5 Billion earmarked in the current Sind budget for KWSB’s payment to K-Electric.

Nikon wins awards

LAHORE (PR): Olympus Imaging Corporation was awarded for two of its successful products by The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). OM-D E-M10 camera received EISA’s “European Consumer Compact System Camera 2014-2015” award, whereas M. Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens was awarded with the “European Compact System Zoom Lens 2014-2015”.

The European Imaging & Sound Association (EISA) is an organization representing 50 leading camera, imaging and audio magazines in 20 European countries. Each year it selects outstanding products and technologies from a wide spectrum of audiovisual product categories.

SMIS-AGS’ two-day training course

LAHORE (PR): SMIS-AGS (System Machinery Inspection Services – American Global Standards)  providing services in ISO 9000/14000/18000/CE Mark, UL, Global G.A.P/Organic Certification and Earthmoving Machinery Inspection in Pakistan Since 2005 has managed (2) Two days training course (8.30 am to 6.00pm) on Global G.A.P /Organic certification were managed by SMIS at PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. International Experts from China Mr. Qu Fengfa and Mrs.Hua Yanli were the speakers.
