Islamabad Tenpin Bowling C’ship starts

ISLAMABAD – The 7th Islamabad Tenpin Bowling Championship 2015 started here at Leisure City Bowling Club on late Wednesday night. The players of twin cities are taking part in event which is being organised by Islamabad Tenpin Bowling Association (ITBA) in collaboration with Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF). Dr Khan was top scorer in the championship qualifying round after six games with 1,022 pins, while Sikander Hayat was second with 950 pins and Inam Khan third with 908 pins. Tough competition is expected in master category among the previous and present masters while the winner will receive a gold-plated crown. PTBF secretary Ijaz said: “It is our utmost priority to provide grassroots level bowlers a platform, where they may show their potential and excel at higher level.”
