Islamabad - Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has constituted two benches at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases during the next week, starting from Monday, August 29.
The first bench comprising Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Qazi Faez Isa will hear the cases including election matters of local bodies and suo motu action regarding illegal transplantation of human organs.
The second bench comprises Justice Dost Muhamamd Khan and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood.
would hear cases including election matters of local bodies, cases against remand order and re-summoning of witness to be cross examined by the prosecution, Constitutional petitions under Article 184 against removal of katchi abadis from Islamabad.
According to case lists, no adjournment on any ground will be granted and no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court. Furthermore, if the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case.
