Three terrorists of banned outfit have been apprehended by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) amidst an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dharampura area of Lahore.
As per the CTD spokesperson, the apprehended terrorists were identified as Rizwan, Abdul Qayyum and Muhammad Arif.
It has been further revealed by the CTD spokesperson that the terrorists belonged to one of the banned outfits.
It is pertinent to note that the terrorists were planning to attack security agencies.
IEDs, two hand grenades, a pistol and other explosive material have been recovered from the terrorists, and are now in the custody of CTD officers.
According to sources, a case has been registered against the arrested terrorists at the CTD Police Station.
