Fight against corruption

In an over-bearing demeanour the Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mr Babar Awan has announced to launch an anti-corruption campaign from April 2011 in all government departments to eradicate the menace of corruption from the country. Knowing that the ambitious politicians would not agree to any such self-denying move, he ingeniously excluded them from the mischief of this campaign, apparently with the Presidents consent. True, that most of the bureaucrats are intolerably corrupt but are not the politicians so too? Why must they be treated as the sacred cows allowed to loot and plunder the state with impunity? Who doesnt know that it is lust for power and wealth which beacons them initially to a flirtatious romance with politics which they enjoy and exploit with passion while it lasts.
