LAHORE The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) during its campaign against electricity pilferage on Monday carried out a raid at a Paper Mills situated at Multan Road and detected power theft. The LESCO team caught power theft during inspection of the electricity meters installed there and imposed fine worth Rs 8 million on the factory owners for stealing electricity. LESCO officials claimed that the paper mills management had been stealing power from the main supply line since 2005. Further investigations are underway.
