A woman from Nottingham has changed her name to ‘Pink Sparkly And All Things Nice’. The beauty therapist, who used to be called Charlotte Price, is just one of 100,000 people who changed their name in Britain with the Legal Deed Poll Service this year. The mother of three says she is obsessed with the colour pink and has incorporated it into most of her clothes, house decor and the salon in which she works. She goes by Pink Nice for short but admitted: “My mum thinks I’m a bit mad really and so do my children. They stick to ‘Mum’.” Other unusual name changes include best friends Daniel Knox-Hewson, 23, and Kelvin Borbidge, 22, also from Nottingham. The pair had deed poll in August and are now thought to have the longest names in the UK, The Mirror reports.           –DS
