QUETTA - Three people, including a teacher were killed in separate incidents of violence in different towns of Balochistan on Tuesday while blasts occurred in Dera Bugti and Panjgour districts.

According to police, Amanullah Barech was passing from Sariab Road of Quetta when bandits intercepted him and tried to snatch his motorbike. They opened fire after Amanullah offered resistance to them. Resultantly, he sustained critical wounds and succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

The bandits fled from the scene after committing the crime.

Soon after the incident, relatives of deceased rushed to the hospital and later moved the body outside Quetta Press Club to condemn the killing.

They chanted slogans against failure of government in curbing the incidents of street crimes.

They demanded of the government for immediate arrest of culprits and warned if culprits were not brought to justice they would besiege Balochistan Assembly. Later, protesters dispersed peacefully.

Police said a case had been registered and investigation into the killing was underway.

In Kech, on a tip-off Levies Force recovered a body from Kech Pasni Road and moved it to government hospital for autopsy where the deceased was identified as Ghulam Qadir.

Family sources said the Ghulam Qadir had gone missing on May 22nd, this year from Kech district. Hospital sources said the deceased was hit with bullets and marks of torture were visible on his body. The deceased was resident of Nasirabad area of Kech and a teacher by profession.

Levies Force after completing legal formalities handed over body to heirs. In another incident, a man was gunned down in Duki tehsil of Loralai district.

Levies Force sources said unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on Din Muhammad in Bagho area and fled from the scene after committing the crime.

Resultantly, he received critical wounds and died instantly. Sources said motive behind the killing was old enmity.

According to reports reaching from Dera Bugti district, a tractor-trolley was on its way in Sui area when it rolled on a landmine that exploded with a huge blast badly damaging the tractor. However, no loss of life was reported in the blast.

Meanwhile, explosives planted along the road at Chakar Azam Chowk Panjgour exploded with big bang. However, nobody was hurt in the blast.

The blast sent a wave of panic amongst the people in the area. Law-enforcement agencies rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.
