GARHI KHUDA BUX/UCH SHARIF (INP) - PPP activists annoyed over the party policies and attitude towards workers attempted to commit suicide on the occasion of fourth death anniversary of slain party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto here on Tuesday.

According to details 20 to 25 PPP activists hailing from different areas of Balochistan province tried to talk to party high-ups gathered in Garhi Khuda Bux to mark the fourth death anniversary of their slain leader, regarding their hardships and demands, but no heed was paid.

Later, all the annoyed PPP activist tried self-immolation but were saved after intervention by the other party workers present at the scene.

However, they warned to commit mass suicides if their miseries were not looked into and demands were not fulfilled at the earliest.

In Uch Sharif, a PPP activist disappointed by the party policies and failure to arrest Benazir Bhutto’s killers and not fulfilling masses desires, committed suicide by hanging himself.
