LAHORE – The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue-1122) responded to 132, 331 road accidents across the province during the current year, DG Rescue-1122 Dr Rizwan Naseer-cum-Secretary General Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said on Tuesday. He further said it was observed with great concern that the younger age group (10-30 year) were frequently involved in these accidents and accounts for 61pc of total accidents toll, followed by (30-50 year) in 30pc and people aged above 55 years shared 9pc of the total burden.
