SAHIWAL - Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), who upheld dignity of Islam by making unprecedented sacrifices along with his companions in Kabala, became a symbol of virtue while Yazeed emerged as representative of vice, speakers said at a conference.
It was addressed by Albadar Foundation Chairman Allama Ziaullah Shah Bukhari during the Hussain Conference held here under the auspices of Imamia Organisation Pakistan. The meeting was presided over by Imamia Organisation Pakistan Chairman Kameel Abbas Jafari.
Addressing the conference, scholar Maulanad Kousar Abbas Naqvi called upon the participants to fight evil elements by following in the footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and seek guidance from incident of Karbala followers the great Imam.
Kameel Jafari in his presidential address paid glowing tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and said, “We should remain steadfast against evil forces. We should make all possible efforts to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state by acting upon mission of the Karbala martyrs.
Later, regional nazam Syed Qamar Ali thanked all the participants of conference which was also attended by Ulema of all schools of thought and intellectuals, a large number of citizens and notables of Sahiwal.
